    These little girls enjoy hot meals as part of a ministry outreach in Calcutta, India. At the same time, they are feasting on God's Word, learning Bible stories and Gospel songs. Around the world, Samaritan's Purse supports a variety of feeding programs like this that enable local believers to serve hot meals to malnourished children and impoverished families. Just $7 can furnish a week's worth of dinners, so we can tell of the gracious Lord who "fills the hungry with good things" (Psalm 107:9, NIV).

I gave a chicken! Layer chickens lay an egg a day for a full year, so giving one chicken really means you are giving 365 eggs! These eggs are then eaten by children and staff at MMO, with additional eggs being sold in the market to help sustain operations.

  • Day 522 – Talked to strangers in the elevators and told them to have a blessed day. Great reactions!
  • Day 523 – My (over) 500 days of consecutive give giving came to an end. I was so sad on this day.
